The VENTANA DP® 200 slide scanner is a computer and imaging-based device that has the capability to scan, digitize, compress, store, retrieve, and view digitized images of slide specimens. When used with VENTANA Image Viewer, the VENTANA DP 200 slide scanner provides automated digital slide creation, management, and viewing capabilities to aid pathologists with in-vitro examination of human tissue specimens.
