Description

The BSD-TD Automatic True Density & Porosity Analyzer is a highly precise instrument designed for measuring true density, open porosity, and closed porosity of a wide range of solid samples. With an accuracy of better than ±0.03% and a repeatability of better than ±0.015%, it provides reliable and precise results, with a resolution of 0.0001 g/ml. The analyzer offers fast testing, completing a single station test in just 0.5 to 1 minute, and doubles its efficiency with two analysis stations.Suitable for a variety of sample types—such as powders, granules, blocks, foams, slurries, and non-volatile liquids—the BSD-TD’s test method utilizes a high-volume, direct-sample test cavity, enhancing accuracy by optimizing sample volume utilization. The “bottom-loading bayonet-type” sample pool accommodates larger samples, further improving test precision. Additionally, the system features a fully automatic constant temperature mode with a temperature accuracy error of less than 0.1°C, ensuring consistent environmental conditions for accurate results.
